4 months old!

I feel like I just posted that Ryan was 3 months!  This is definitely going by fast!  Here’s what’s going on:

• Ryan is grasping things more and more.  He can hold teething rings and other toys.
• Speaking of teething, he definitely is!  The drooling has not yet started, but he is chewing on everything in site.  I can hardly change his clothes without him grabbing for my hand to put it in his mouth!
• He is eating 5 ounces during the day, and we’ve just started rice cereal at night with a bottle. 
• He is in size 2 diapers.
• He is wearing 6-9 month clothes if they are one piece and 3-6 month clothes if they are separates.
• He loves for you to place him on the bed and stand over him and talk!
• He is beginning to blow raspberries.
• He is “talking” a lot.  He makes a lot of different consonant sounds and squeals a lot!
• He laughed for the first time tonight in the bathtub!  (and for his mommy!)
• He is still not sleeping through the night.  He wakes 1-2 times at night.  Though, the other night he had a 9 hr stretch.   I know it will happen.  With Tyler, he was 5 months old.  I’m not in a hurry to push it or resort to “crying it out.”  I’m surviving :)

He truly is the happiest baby—he smiles ALL the time!  I’ve really enjoyed the last few weeks when his personality has really come through! 

His 4 month visit is tomorrow.  I will update after his checkup.
