This year, when I realized I couldn't use my extra work money on an upgrade back in September, I was pretty bummed. Our well needed fixing, and my extra money had to go towards that. I had decided that it would be quite a while before we could afford a new camera at the price it was.
This past Sunday, Josh surprised me with THE camera. The only hobby I really have anymore is photography, which I've been blessed to turn into a successful side business. The only toy I ever really want is photography-related. So, I'm so excited that I am now the new owner of a Nikon D7000! I have had very little time to play with it and learn its settings. While it's similar to the D60, it's different as well and way fancier! I'm still deciding if I will use it this weekend for a photo shoot or wait until I have more practice with it. However, I will say that inside the house it's been love at first photograph!
I will be selling my D60 and the 18-55 mm lens (plus other accessories) in the next days. If any readers are interested, let me know!
