For the first time since Ryan was born, Tyler and I had a date all day today. He’s had plenty of one-on-one time with Josh, but he’s had none with me. It’s been obvious that’s he’s been craving attention in the past month, so I scheduled our sitter to watch Ryan (though I felt a little guilty doing so), and I planned a day for just Tyler and I.
It started with breakfast.
We got a later start than I anticipated, but we left the house around 10:00 am and heading to the Museum of Life and Sciences along with about a million other people! Tyler had been with me once when he was 2, but he doesn’t really remember it. We were there for 2 1/2 hrs, and he loved every second of it!
Afterward, we headed to do a little shopping and to lunch. At the end of our “date,” he told me that we were best friends.
I sure hope it stays that way! :)
