Last week, we started a responsibility chart with Tyler. I was excited to find this Melissa and Doug magnetic chart for $11 with free shipping on Amazon! There are many different chores that can be used, and in time we will switch them to harder ones. But for now, we have the following: Stop Whining, Say Please and Thank You, Get Dressed, Clean Up Room, Feed the Pet, Get Ready for Bed, and Brush Teeth. Each day he can earn a magnet smiley face. We haven't really thought beyond the magnets as a reward. I suppose when we need to make it more exciting, we might have to shell out money or prizes! So far, he gets really excited about it!
