You know you're very pregnant when...

With two weeks to go in my last pregnancy, here's a few things I've learned during my time.

You know you're very pregnant when....

  • You weigh all of your options before deciding to roll in bed on to your other side
  • You wear the same pair of pants every day to work b/c you are down to only one pair that fits
  • You have to somehow get on all fours to get off the floor because there is just no other way of getting up
  • You have to allow extra time for walking places because you have to add extra time for your waddle.
  • You feel like you really have to pee - and only a drop manages out.
  • You make your 4 yr old pick up everything you've dropped on the floor - AND you find creative ways of turning it into a game so they don't catch on what you're up to.
  • You get excited on days when you don't have cankles
  • You will only go shopping in places you know have a bathroom
  • You let your 4 yr old leave the house without going potty because you know you will have to go as soon as you get to where you are going.
  • When I'm sleeping comfortably with the window open and fan going while covered with just a sheet and Josh has 2 blankets and a comforter on shivering....it's usually the other way around.
  • When people start giving you their condolences
  • With every movement you make that causes the slightest of strain, you have to grunt or groan.
  • When you stop caring about the scale because at this point, it doesn't even matter.
  • You realize that subconsciously you have put about five things resting on your belly when you don't realize it.
