35 Week Appointment

This morning I went in for my 35 week appointment. I got iron checked, the Strep B test (yuck--google it), and "checked" in general. During the exam, he told me I looked tired.

Yes..this is true.

Then he measured my belly and said "he's big."

Ok..

What does that mean? He asked how big Tyler was. At four days late, Tyler was only 7lbs 3 oz, but he was also 21 inches long. They thought he'd be big, but it turned out he was just long. So, I can't imagine that at 39 weeks I'm going to have a huge baby. So there, Mr. Doctor. But for the record, he can be 10 lbs if he wants to be. Ok, well I take that back. I have a lot of newborn diapers I'd like to use. So, let's go more with 8lbs...

My cervix is closed, which is totally fine with me. No need to be dialated right now! He checked only because I mentioned the pelvic pain. Bad news. It's just gonna be this way for a while. But then again, I already knew this :)

I will begin weekly visits now. This is when I know we are close! I'm not sure who is more ready--Josh or me. My FMLA paperwork is processed at work, and I will be taking a 11 week leave beginning May 5 and returning to work July 21.
