We spent the Thanksgiving holiday with family on both sides. Josh had to work Thanksgiving, so Tyler and I drove Thursday morning to do Thanksgiving with my side of the family. As a side note, I now start thinking how challenging trips like this will be by myself with a newborn and a 4 year old! The day before, Tyler's preschool class made indian hats and pretend pumpkin pies out of shaving cream. So, he had to show those off! That night, my mom, aunt, cousin and I went to see New Moon. Having read the books, I was excited but honestly was kinda let down after all the hype. But it was still good to get out and see a movie in a THEATER! That never happens!
On Friday, we celebrated Mimi and Aunt Stephanie's (my sister)birthday. Tyler had plenty of time to run all over the house with his cousins. It's never a dull moment! Between the countless days of no naps at preschool, the big meals, and the numerous games of hide and seek with his cousins, he completely melted down Friday night.
Saturday morning, Tyler and I headed back to pick up daddy and drive to do Thanksgiving Round 2 with the LeConeys. After the meal, Tyler got to spend the night with Grandma since Aunt Desiree was down and wanted to spend some time with him. So, Josh and I took advantage of our free time and did some Christmas shopping!
We have so much to be thankful this year as all previous years. We have a healthy family and pray we will be adding a healthy boy or girl by spring! And of course, I can't leave off that I, of all people, am thankful to have enjoyed Thanksgiving nausea free!
