A Productive Saturday

For the first time since I was 6 weeks pregnant, I CLEANED MY HOUSE TODAY! Don't worry. We have not lived in scum for 3 months (though it's come close sometimes). We have had a cleaning lady come in twice to do a major cleaning! Now, don't go patting me on the back too fast. There was no dusting, mopping, or windexing of windows. BUT, I swept all the floors, cleaned the kitchen, vacuumed the floors, cleaned up the office to put stuff back in Tyler's room, started laundry, and am now sitting on the couch relaxing before my body rebels! All during this time, my child read books. He did not get off the couch for 2 hrs! Since he didn't nap, I told him while mommy cleaned, he could read books in the living room. In fact I'm done and blogging now, and he's still reading. As a side note, Leapfrog Tag is the best investment EVER.

BUT before even the cleaning, Tyler and I drove to town to get his hair trimmed at the only place I trust to know how to not butcher his hair (choke..$17.99), make a Target and Bath and Body Works run, and meet two friends for lunch. Baby was craving a Stromboli!

So, I feel confident in saying that THIS momma was productive today!
