Mountain Therapy

Last Friday, I saw this from my cabin.

and this each morning

and ate this for snacks

and got pampered without even asking

and hung out with great girls

and learned to use Karen's self-timer on her camera

I ate really good ice cream in Blowing Rock because even in early November, the temperature was in the 60s. I probably would have eaten it regardless of the temperature.

I watched three movies and lots of TV.

I learned how NOT to cook cheese toast in a complicated toaster oven.

I froze my cabin mates to death.

I slept no better, if not worse, than I would at home but loved not having responsibility once I woke up.

I didn't have to sleep in bunk beds.

I only threw up twice.

I only had one cold shower.

There were no calls to the police at 3am this year claiming we saw footprints outside of our cabin.

Who's ready for next year? Oh wait. I'll have a 6 month old...

Hopefully that 6 month old is a girl, and she can join on girls weekend.
