Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter weekend. It began Friday afternoon as we drove to Jamestown to stay with my parents. Saturday was a beautiful day, so while Tyler pretended to take a nap (rolling my eyes), I took that time to photograph my parents' blooming flowers and landscaping. I love spring.

That evening, Josh and I were lucky to have a "date night" at Bonefish Grill. Yummy! We planned on a movie, but nixed it later on. Target still called our names though. We were running a little behind schedule due to a minor canine issue. We were afraid that Toby had broken his tail. He was whining and wimpering all afternoon, and it was obvious that it was his tail that was hurting him. After debating, we decided to bring him to the vet. They were about to close and had no excitement to stay late to do x-rays, so the vet prescribed some doggie "dope" and sent us back. We were scared that if he had broken his tail, that it would have to be amputated. I got embarrased for him! Luckily, the meds and some sleep healed him, so we think it was just a bad bruise or sprain. We think he did it while sleeping on the couch and falling hard on his back and onto his tail the wrong way. Or...it could be when he snuck out of the back porch, barked at the mexican workers next door, and the door hit him. Who knows with him. He's the strangest and best dog ever.

But on to happier, bunnier topics. This morning Tyler woke up around 7am and was anxious to see what the "Bunny Rabbit" had brought him. He found a bunny Mr. Potato Head, a new car, and a big chocolate egg. Half a chocolate egg later, he was acting slightly like a bunny on crack.

We went over to my grandmother's house for lunch, birthday celebrations (Aunt Pat, Curtis, and Tyler), and then an easter egg hunt. Tyler got more birthday cake, more presents, and more sugar... My gosh, I think we are done with celebrating Tyler's birthday! However, he did sing happy birthday to Tyler all during dinner. And his new Mickey figurines that his cousins brought back from Disney World apparently threw him a birthday party during bathtime...

Below are a few of my favorite pictures from this weekend. You can check out all of them on dropshots!
