Some Christmas Fun, Big Boy Underwear, and a Kid-Free Weekend!

About a week ago, I bought a gingerbread train kit, and ever since then Tyler has wanted to build it!  So, Friday night we had a family night that involved making the train, baking cookies, and watching Christmas movies.  Ryan loved helping out with the train as well as eating while doing it!

On another note, Ryan has been really interested lately in wearing big boy underwear.  He has been peeing fairly consistently at preschool and one day just flat out refused to wear a pull up!  He is still not pooping in the potty, but I figure that will come later.  We are proud of his interest, and he is proud of his big boy underwear!

Last, Josh and I had a weekend to ourselves so that we could go to a neighborhood Christmas party last night!
