Tyler's Birthday Party: The Planning

Holy moly, this week has been nuts!  Not only is work really picking up, but Tyler's birthday party is today.  In years past, I'm usually so organized with planning his party and having his yearly video complete.  This year, something changed.  Hmm it could be this extra job I took on of photography!

Regardless, I have a great husband who said not to worry and volunteered to go buy all the party supplies.  Originally, we planned on an outdoor party with a bouncy house.  Unfortunately, the weather is pretty gross this weekend, so we had to shift gears and figure out how to have a superhero party inside of our 1440 sq foot house.  We have opted to transform our garage into the party place with the help of some nice neighbors who are willing to let us store a few of our items! 

While I was busy working in the office, Josh would text me and call me asking questions.  Finally, I got a disgruntled call from him a small while later stating that this was getting ridiculous.  All along we thought having a party at home would be cheaper, but it's not turning out that way.  Granted, if we had more time to plan, I could have figured out cheaper ways to do things.  Josh went to Party City which I criticized as being way over priced.  "Why didn't you tell me this?  I'm not smart at this stuff!"  I could only laugh and be thankful that he was doing it all while I was stuck at work.

Stay tuned for the party details. It will be a small crowd but we have a bigger surprise for him a bit later :)
