I posted last week that I had two photo shoots coming up. The first was Saturday morning at Joyner Park in Wake Forest. Gorgeous day. Cool weather. Beautiful subjects! I could not have asked for a more perfect family to start with! Mikaeyla is in Tyler's preschool class and loves to take pictures! What a beauty she is! I'm posting a few of my favorites here...and it's hard because they all turned out great!

The quality suffers some when I post them on blogger, so check out the link!
The next morning (Halloween morning), I traveled to the house of an ex-coworker of mine. She and I worked together for a while until she decided to become a stay-at-home mom when her youngest was born. Kylie (6) and Hannah (3) are wild little girls who love to move, move, move! It was a great opportunity for me to work with kids who....uh, don't want to sit still ;) Here are a few favorites from the session.

The response I've had is awesome. Not only do I have happy families, but the referrals are already coming in, which I have to say is a little frightening but exciting at the same time! I've definitely wanted to get into photography for some time, but it's hard when you work full time, have kids, and have strange schedules. Josh is very supportive and watched both kids for me this weekend so that I could do these sessions. We'll see where it goes. For now, it's just a fun hobby and some extra Christmas cash :)
