7 months old!

…a few days early

Our chunky little monkey is 7 months old!  Unfortunately, he is spending it with an ear infection!  This is his second one and is already passing his older brother whose first one was exactly this time of year right before Thanksgiving. 

He is sitting very well now and loves that he can now sit in grocery carts and in high chairs! 

He is sleeping better minus when we have colds.  He goes to bed around 6:30 or 7 pm, and I feed him around 4:30/5:30 am and then he sleeps until 7 most mornings. He slept through the night a few nights last week.  We know he’s capable, but until he gets over being sick, it’s fine!

Today at his sick visit, he weighed in at almost 19 lbs

He LOVES food.  His mouth will open wide if you even walk in his direction with food!  He gets breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner each day in addition to his bottles. 

Recently, we’ve had some fun bringing out some fun things like:

The jumperoo

The walker

TOYS!

And of course, he still loves the exersaucer…

and chewing on that orange butterfly

He’s also graduated to a big boy car seat.  I waited as long as I could, but it was time!

So, this means we have retired a few items like his bumbo and activity mat.   He’s probably ready to be out of his bathtub, and Tyler’s having a fit for him to sit in the inflatable ducky bathtub. I guess it’s coming soon.

In the past month, Tyler has really loved hanging out with his brother.  It’s amazing how now that Ryan is sitting up and playing with “Tyler’s toys” that they are much more connected!

There is a fair share of hair pulling…

and nose grabbing…

But I’m finally witnessing a developing brotherhood!
