Preggo Project #1: Master Bathroom

Last Sunday night I had an urge at 9pm to start taping off our master bathroom.  I got a quarter of the way through and ran out of tape.  Since the next day was a holiday, we all set out to run some errands including getting more tape and a few supplies.

We had never painted our bathroom.  It was never really a priority.  But I’ve wanted to for a while.  You can’t tell from the before pictures, but our bathroom had a red shower curtain and red towels as accents—all wedding presents.

Before:

January 027

January 028

Painted:

January 030

January 029

Final Product:

January 043

January 044

January 048

January 045

The paint was leftover from when we painted Tyler’s bedroom last year.  The shower curtain was moved from our guest bath since it matched better in here now.  The picture in the powder room was from the guest bath.  The towels were Christmas presents.

I purchased two new rugs for $10, the plant for $11, glass tray on the counter for $12, and the corner stand in the powder room for $14.

Total project cost:  $47

Next on the list…guest bathroom!
