Ok, so I’m officially the mother of a true boy! Josh started last year saying that he wanted to take Tyler to Monster Jam, but I said to wait another year. So, this year when I got my Duke discount list and Monster Jam was on there, I told Josh. Josh and Tyler, along with our neighbor and his son up the road, went yesterday to see monster trucks, motorcycles, and dirt bikes. It was a day event that started at noon and didn’t end until 4, so I wasn’t sure how great Tyler would do especially since he woke up earlier than normal yesterday. But, I got pictures sent to my phone to show me the fun they were having. The first picture I received, I responded with “what’s that orange stuff under his nose?”
That would be Sunkist (orange soda).
Daddy was certainly in charge! While they had their daddy/son day, I used a gift card to get a mother’s massage and then had lunch with a friend.
