ok, it's official

I'm bored and old. Why does 28 sound so freaking old? I used to get excited about birthdays. Now, not so much. I've hit all the milestone years like 16, 18, and 21. Now, all I have to look forward to is 30 and 40 both of which I don't think I'll be celebrating. Josh is turning 30 in 10 days. That's too funny to me because if you know him in person, you know he's anything but mature. How's that for a police officer? :-)

So, i'm bored...on my bday....sitting at work. Taylor's on a plane to Ca with her fiance'. Bless her heart, I can't wait to hear about the dress she had to put on her body for this Vietnemese wedding. Did I spell that right? Probably not.

I think this weekend I will take Tyler to the local pumpkin patch up the road from us. Creedmoor doesn't have much, but you can always count on some good farms! A few weekends ago as I was in the car with Taylor with Tyler in the backseat, we heard him say (in Raleigh--anything but Creedmoor) "hey, a cow!" I said "baby, this aint Creedmoor." Bless his heart. He's going to grow up thinking roosters crow at everyone's house at 5am and that cows and horses are a normal sight daily. Hell, we even have cow crossing signs in our town.
