I wrote a loooong letter and yes, i put it in the mailbox when I dropped him off in the morning. When I picked him up, I went straight to his room and was informed that he had someone else's diaper on b/c he was out. No one told me he was out, and he had 2 sizes too small on. I went into the director's office and told them that they could add this complaint to my letter. They were nice and understanding, of course. They mentioned they were embarrassed. The lead teacher had been telling the director she had been filliing out the daily reports, so she had been lying. The two teachers didn't know how the school stuff was in that drawer. Long story short (b/c I talked to them for 30 mins) they said that his classroom needs work and they are aware of it. They recognize that I'm a parent that's going to notice things with reason of course. And, they don't want to lose me due to a staff member. They have a new teacher that they planned on putting in the toddler room but might put her in the 2s instead. Anyway, the next morning the lead teacher apologized genuinely to me and didn't make excuses. She said she will be more on the ball with things. I've heard it all before. I don't have another option though, so I don't want to feel aggrevated with them all the time. They know by now that I will tell them if I'm mad and it does get fixed. It's just that it doesn't always last. Makes me mad that he could be in the other daycare if there weren't a long waitlist. I did tour the other daycare...and it's incredible. But Tyler will probably be 18 before we get a call.
