Tyler's First Desk Job

This week, Tyler came to work with me two days because we didn't want to have to pay for summer camp.  Since it was a slower week and because of the family friendly atmosphere of my company, he tagged along.  I set him up in a nearby cubical with online games.  He loves to play on the computer but rarely is allowed to at home.  So, for two days this is what he did while I worked.  After the first day, he was so excited exclaiming that he couldn't wait to be a grown up and play video games on the computer all day long.  I explained that this was not what I did all day and then kept quiet about how a large quantity of the employees in our company probably do.  ;)

The second day, he got a little antsy so around 2:30 we decided to get out and go for a walk.  He asked when we were going home, and when I answered him, he exclaimed, "you mean you do this EVERY DAY?"

He thinks my work is the best b/c of the attention he receives and the sweets sitting around on the common tables! I will say that for a six-year-old boy, he did remarkable for two days and was quiet and well-behaved!  We celebrated with lunch at Mellow Mushroom and a special dessert!
