Ocean Isle 2012

Last week we (as in the extended family) went to Ocean Isle Beach.  We stayed in a fabulous 9 bedroom, 9 bathroom oceanfront house with a private pool.  It was incredible!  Throughout the week, we had countless trips to the ocean and to the pool.  Ryan was scared of the ocean this year, but unlike last year, Tyler was enthralled by the ocean!  Overall, my boys are still pool kids.  Good thing since we just joined a pool here!

Our family shared traditional beach breakfasts, Cranium games, adult beverages, movie nights, dinners out, and plenty of conversations!  The weather could not have been more perfect.  Usually, we always have at least one rainy day, but this year it never rained.  It was super windy though, but it made the heat bearable!  I usually do many posts to share our trip, but this year I'm consolidating it to one and sharing a few of my favorite pictures.  Plus, I'm just really tired! ;)

Overall, it was a great vacation...and it was just that--a true vacation!
