Yesterday, I had to pick Ryan up early from school and take him to the doctor for an ear infection diagnosis. He was so incredibly sad and in pain. It was hard to watch. When I picked up Tyler from school and told him about Ryan's day, he told me that he would let Ryan watch all the Elmo shows he wanted because he felt bad. So, after an early dinner and bath, they sat on the chair wrapped in a blanket and watched Elmo.
I call it "Ty Ty Therapy." Ryan adores "Ty Ty," and it's just so special to watch their relationship grow and to see them play together. On one hand, I'm a little sad that I didn't have kids a little closer in age, but I hope that Tyler will always prove to be a great older brother and role model to Ryan. I love sitting back and watching them play.

This is funny because I have just recently noticed the same relationship with B and J. Every morning Jake asked Brooklyn to take him to the playroom. It's so sweet to watch siblings no matter how close/far apart in age they are!
I just came across your blog today and I love it so am following :) Your boys are gorgeous and I LOVE their red hair. My 2 SILs have the brightest red hair and they are the only ones in the family with red hair.... no-one has any idea where it came from!!
Anyway... saying hi :) I had my second son 3 weeks ago and am loving having 2 boys :)
