Snow and Bruises

Two random things happened this past weekend--a bunch of bumps and bruises and snow. 

I'm not sure what's going on with Ryan, but he came home Friday with a bruise on the side of his cheek.  Then over the weekend, he fell and bit his cheek which bled.  Sunday evening, he fell off the side of my bed and hit right under his eye on my side table.  He immediately got a black eye.  Then today, he fell off his tractor push toy and has a red burn under his nose.  So, yes it looks like my redhead has been in a true battle!  In addition to his bumps and bruises, he still has a cold.  Actually, I think he got another one right as his first was clearing up.  He graciously gave his cold to me.

Yesterday as I was leaving my parents house for the weekend, the forecast called for snow.  Considering the mild winter we've had, I didn't expect much.  However, we did manage to get about an inch of snow--enough for our schools to cancel of course!  So, I stayed home with the boys today while Josh slept after night shift.  It's safe to say that Ryan was not thrilled with the snow, though the pictures below make it look like he liked it.  Tyler, of course, loved it. We managed to stay out for about 30 minutes before I had to pull the plug because I couldn't imagine it was good for mine and Ryan's colds!
