Super Saturday

I will admit, when Josh has to work weekends I really dread staying home with both boys by myself.  I like to have back up.

Stay-at-home mom I am NOT.

But, sometimes the days work out just perfectly, and today was one of those days. 

I had already decided that this morning we were going to get Tyler’s hair cut.  I had permission from Josh (take that sentence sarcastically), so we headed out to do just that! 

(insert Hallelujah chorus)

When we got home, we ate lunch and did some puzzles before Ryan’s nap. 

If it looks like they are working together, they are not.  Ryan is taking apart the pieces, and Tyler is putting them back together all while whining that “this is not fun.”

After Ryan’s horrible nap, we headed outside because the weather in NC is so inviting right now!  We spent a good hour and a  half outside swinging, playing soccer, and riding the four wheeler.

Josh woke up and hung out for a few hours before going into work.  He initiated Ryan into the “Josh is still a kid” club.

After Ryan went to bed, Tyler and I had a pizza date night.  Yummy!

I hope tomorrow is just as much fun!
