The heartbeat was great. Lower this time, 154...hmm.
I've maintained my weight, which means I haven't gained anything. Even sick with Tyler, I gained 9 lbs in my first trimester! I'm 11 weeks now, so unless I decide to pack on the weight in the next week, I'm doing pretty good. We talked about 1st and 2nd trimester genetic screenings, which I declined. I declined them with Tyler too. These are basically tests which give you an idea if the baby will have any number of diseases (i.e. down syndrome, etc). Not stress I really want to deal with now.
Dr. Frenduto, Tyler's delivering doctor, saw me today and reviewed my chart from my labor with Tyler. He said that the maternal-to-fetal hemorrhage that happened to Tyler (the anemia) is normally not recurrent. They don't really know what causes it to happen. I remember them telling me that after he was born too.
We talked about the nausea and how it's still here. I threw up all weekend and last night. The goal is to start weaning off the drugs, but obviously I can't do that right now. The cute nurse was like "oh honey, it will go away after your first trimester." I said "obviously you haven't looked at my record!" Dr. Frenduto asked me after I confirmed I'd have a repeat c-section how many kids we planned to have. I said, "oh, we are done after this!" I'm thinking of trying vitamin b6, preggo pops, etc and taking the natural route. I keep wondering if that will work better than drugs??
And last, I made a decision about the H1N1 vaccine. I researched a lot, and I feel at peace with the decision I made. Nope, I'm not revealing the decision. I will tell you that I will be getting the seasonal vaccine in the near future just like I do every year.
My next appt is Nov. 18. I'll be 15 weeks. And then I'm assuming the next appt will be the big one! Probably at 19 weeks--week before Christmas.

Glad to hear your doctor's visit went well. I'll let you know after Monday how that "repeat c-section" goes...hopefully quick and easy. (relatively speaking) Just eat whatever you can...I think I lived on eggs and toast for a while...then mcdonald's double cheeseburgers (no onions). It's all about survival at this point! :-)
Glad your appointment went well! You go to the doctor on my birthday! LOL
