Greetings from San Diego!

I'm here, jet lag and all!

I managed to fly in without many problems. Sunday morning, I managed to drive right past the terminals, go into the wrong terminal, and get my carry on baggage manually searched through.

It was tons of fun!

My flight to Chicago was anticlimatic, but on my way from Chicago to San Diego, the largest black male imaginable sat in the middle seat next to me for a long 4 hours. Except for the occasional snores he made and the hard to manage scoots across him for my trips to the bathroom, I made it.

Finding a taxi was the craziest experience ever. I finally got one, and I made it to my hotel---starved, tired, and unshowered. I took care of the first by going straight to the restaurant in the hotel for a late lunch. It was 3pm PST but my body felt like it was 6pm EST. Since planes don't give you ANY food anymore without taking out a loan, I opted to wait.

I showered up and managed to drag myself out to see the Coronado Hotel and Beach--a famous resort. Then we (my coworkers and I) walked in the Gaslamp Quarter and ate dinner at an Italian restaurant.

It was 9:30 by the time I climbed in bed--really 12:30am is what I felt like it was. I woke up this morning at 5am and couldn't go back to sleep. I ended up going to work out but was still back in my room by 8am. I'm in for a long day! I work from 1-6 and then have sponsor parties all night long.
