Well, I'm happy to write that I'm still exercising almost daily. I've been doing this since January but seriously in the last 1-2 months. People say they see a difference. Eh, me not so much. I realized that I can exercise all I want to, but if I continue to eat like crap it's not really going to benefit me all too much. So, last week I started watching what I eat. It's really hard to track what I've lost so far. I think between 1-2 lbs. I went bathing suit shopping last week, and it really wasn't a death sentence for once. I think I'm probably toning up more than losing weight.
Jillian and I (the shred DVD) are not hanging out so much anymore. Instead, I've been slower at work and can take the time to do workouts in the gym. And then some days I still come home and workout again with a DVD. Usually, it's either Jillian, the Slim in Six DVD (another gullible purchase years ago), or my latin dance workout. I love the dance workout! It's tons of fun! I won't be prancing around in a bikini anytime soon, but my goal is to feel a little better at the beach this year. I think this is the most dedicated I've been to working out ever in my life. It's part of my daily routine, and ironically I find myself incomplete if I don't work out. This week, however, with the weather has been hard. The gloomy days just want to put me to sleep at my desk...

Up till now, I've been lucky to have a workout partner at work, Lisa. She and I are pretty good about it and we try and motivate each other not to wuss out each day. Most days we succeed, some we don't. A newer coworker and friend, Karen, has been an extra "umph" lately. First of all, she is already little and muscular. This girl can run at insane speeds on the treadmill all while carrying on a conversation. She is the funniest person I know! If I keep it up with her and Lisa, I have no choice but to be buff by December!

I'm so proud of you for working out so much :) You are an inspiration to me, especially now that my ankle is almost healed :)
