Tyler Turned SEVEN!

I'm so behind with blogging, but Tyler turned the big SEVEN on March 27!  Lucky for him, it was field day at his school, and the last day of school before spring break!  I took off the day from work to do some volunteering at Ryan's school and then come watch Tyler at his field day.

After field day, we checked him out of school and went immediately for the boys to get hair cuts!  Tyler's was out of control!  We had an early dinner at Red Robin (Tyler's alternative choice to Golden Coral--blah!).  We were happy with the alternative ;) 

It was finally present time, and Tyler was so excited because he was very clearly hoping to get Skylanders Giants!  

And he was so happy!

And he had to go tell SOMEONE!

Many of the boys on our street have this game, so Tyler couldn't wait to share characters and play with him friends!  However, due to some behavioral issues, he only got to play it for two days before having it taken away for two weeks!  But I won't spend time blogging about that ;)

Tyler made a wish and blew out his candle, but no one ate cake because Red Robin gave us huge ice cream sundaes for dessert!

A few days later, we celebrated his birthday with family on Easter!  He received even more Skylander characters and a TON of spring/summer clothes.  His growth spurts have caused us to have to get an entire new spring wardrobe because he has nothing that fits!!!

Happy 7th birthday to Tyler!  I cannot believe he is SEVEN!
