The stressful part of this entire moving process was supposed to be the actual selling. However, that's actually been the easy part. The house hunting part has been stressful (at least for me). We know the neighborhoods we like, we know the preschool, we know the bucket list items we want/need in a house. However, all of this adds up to be MONEY. :) The sleepless nights have started where I ask myself which is more important--the neighborhood or the house upgrades? Of course, I want both but it's just not happening at the moment. Yesterday, we were literally ready to make an offer on a gorgeous house and then I happened to notice that there wasn't a dining room! While Josh doesn't understand, it's a priority for me not only for entertaining but for resale value!
I've waited so long to move, and now that it's happening I am stressing over where to live! I try and remind myself that the right house will come along and that truly the hardest part (selling) is over. Maybe it will rain an extra $50k in the next month for us to get our dream house. :) If not, I'll just continue to pray for patience and guidance!

awwww, good luck!! If it makes you feel any better, Thad and I had to compromise on a lot of things on our dream list to get our current house, especially in our area (fireplace, neighborhood, the condition it was in), but we did get our very most important things (near the metro, good-sized yard, good school district).
I'm not gonna lie - the renovations we've done have been stressful, but I think the end result will be totally worth it. Now I'm in love with our little house, even though it's in various stages of incompleteness. I hope you guys find the right place soon!
praying that all goes smoothly and that you will have a peace about everything.
