Baseball's Coming to a Close

Tonight is Tyler's last baseball game. It was supposed to be last Friday night, but the rain cancelled it. However, the team did have a party the next day where each team member received a trophy. Josh took Tyler to the party because it was outside, and with the raining, it was so muddy and cold that we decided to keep Ryan at home. So, this means I stayed home with him. :) Tyler came home really excited about his trophy!

I think we are all glad that the season is ending. It was quite a haul to get him to practice sometimes twice a week plus one to two games a week! Tyler was really not ever into it. I think the only reason he went along with it is because it gave him something to do. Josh and I were not super excited about it either, but it stemmed from the fact that Tyler wasn't. If anything, he learned some skills and that we never give up. We never had another game like the one where Tyler did so well a few weeks back. And that is fine with us. Of course, we just were happy if he would try!

Tyler starts soccer again this Saturday. He played last winter, and we had signed him up for another season but he broke his arm. So, we sat a season out. I think this will be much easier on our schedules! And I think Tyler really enjoys soccer better!
