Tyler’s birthday party was yesterday (a week before his actual birthday), and he had a great time despite a bad fall at the beginning. He and seven of his preschool friends jumped, ate cake, and got a LOT of energy out!
The invitations went out about a month ago that I designed in Photoshop. I was kinda proud of myself for making these from scratch!
Yes, of course it was a Toy Story theme! And yes, he got plenty of Toy Story toys!
Sadly, there was a lot of drama on the back end of the party, ranging from poor management and staff to the fact that Tyler fell 6 feet from a section on the inflatable that was not closed off and landed on his head….on the hard floor. I will not use this post to tell you all of the specifics, but I will urge that any of my blogging friends refrain from going to the Monkey Joes in Raleigh. There, that’s my mini vent.
Tyler will have a family birthday party next weekend over his actual birthday. We can’t believe he will be five in a week!
