Mr. Mom

The past week and a half at work has been nothing short of stressful, and it’s resulted in me having to stay late several nights.  Luckily, I have a very incredible husband who can play Mr. Mom at the drop of a hat!  There were several days that he would watch Ryan all day and then have to go get Tyler at preschool, coordinate dinner,  and await for me to come home long enough to bathe Ryan, feed him, and put him to bed.  And yesterday he had both kids home.  We kept Tyler home since I’ve been working late and we weren’t certain Josh’s truck would make it to his preschool to pick him up since it’s having some starter issues.

Not only did he care for two kids, but he also put on his teacher hat and had Tyler practicing what he would be doing at preschool. He asked me before I left for work what letter they were working on at school this week.  Not but an hour later, I got picture texts showing me what Tyler was working on!

He does as good of a job, if not better sometimes, than I do.  I’m pretty lucky to have a patient husband who can handle the house when I can’t!

However, when I received this picture on my cell phone, I knew it was time to leave work and come home.

If the police thing falls through, he could always do Daddy Daycare. Or at least give lessons to other dads
