We have achieved preschool!

So, last week I interviewed a preschool in the area and Tyler is now enrolled in Bright Beginnings Preschool! I'm really excited and felt 100% confident after I went back today with Josh. I am, however, nervous for Tyler. Change is not something he likes. I'm going to try and take him one day this week in the morning during their free time to get him acquainted. I'm supposed to call back with a start date. I was scared to say he would start next Tues (Monday is a holiday) without thinking it through first and without talking with his current daycare director. Honestly, if they try and tell me there is a notice policy, I'll just tell them I have three years worth of documentation that could easily go reported to the state. It's hard to imagine all that he's been missing out on, but this is a good age to start getting that structured curriculum. I love everything about it down to him bringing a bookbag and folder each day! He will be full time now, meaning we pay for every day regardless of whether he's there or not. This is of course different than what we've done at his daycare. We were lucky! If we don't start him next Tuesday, we will start him the following Monday. I took the last spot in the room before a waiting list was about to form. So, the timing was really in our favor. Anyway, I figure I'll tell his daycare tomorrow and go from there! I've got to get a medical form filled out by his dr in the meantime.
