"New School"

Tyler is L-O-V-I-N-G his new preschool, or as he calls it, "new school." Seriously, it's amazing to see how different he is in this new place. I think he really loves his teachers and the fact that the room is smaller with less children. He loves the "new toys" he gets to play with, and despite the fact that he'd never admit to it, he probably really enjoys the lack of television b/c it means more play time! I know I like that aspect! I am really enjoying being able to drop him off and not witness tears or clinginess. That was a REALLY big issue at his daycare. I also love not seeing chaos break out in front of me with rambunctious preschoolers running around all snotty-nosed and teachers looking helpless. It helps to have a smaller classroom now. I haven't witnessed any negatives yet, and I feel like I probably won't. It's nice to feel comfortable in knowing that Tyler is learning more, getting better attention, and enjoying his days. He comes home daily with his artwork in his folder. This week they are studying zoo animals, so he had made a giraffe that he was so proud of! It's worth the money to have a sense of peace about it.

Praise the Lord you found this place, seriously such a blessing. I am so happy for you and Tyler - you will really be able to see the changes in him because of this new positive environment! I can't wait to hear more positive stories about his new school. I miss teaching sometimes...I'll just wait till i have my own kiddos :)
