So, Josh left early Sunday to go snowboarding in Lake Placid, NY. He returns late Friday night but then will be on day shift this weekend. In the meantime, we had a little snow here ourselves. Well, most of the state did. We did get snow but nowhere near the amounts that people just 30 minutes down the road did. I never measured, but I'm assuming we got around 2-3 inches. However, many others got up to 7 inches. Regardless, snow is snow and Tyler was excited! Of course this meant that his first day of preschool was cancelled due to the weather (but we still pay for it!) This also meant that I couldn't go into work. So, due to deadlines which I could not compromise with, I was stuck working at home with Tyler! Of course we took breaks to go play in the snow, but most of the day was spent watching every DVD we owned! You can imagine my thrill when there was only a 2 hour delay this morning! I love my child, but after four full days of full time stay-at-home mothering, I was ready to get things back to "normal." I'm a better mother with that life too! We are, however, ready for Josh's return home too!
I took a great deal of pictures out in the snow. Do you doubt me? Here are a few of my favorites! We went out in the morning and Tyler was not that thrilled. In the afternoon, he enjoyed it much more!

So today due to the delay, I brought Tyler in to his new school at 10am. He barely looked back and was really excited! I called around 1:30 to check on him, and they said he was doing great. When I picked him up, he could have cared less that I was there! This is not a bad thing! According to his folder, he got a star for the day and did several fun things :-) I really hope that this will be a great change for him!
Here are the last minute pictures I took this morning before school. My normal camera's batteries were dead, so I had to use Josh's camera. You get the idea though!
